Happy Disciples is a nonprofit organization built around one simple belief: people should never have to face hard seasons alone.
What began three years ago as a mission to bring comfort and joy to children staying at Children’s Mercy has grown into something much bigger. Through gift baskets, unforgettable experiences, community outreach, and opportunities to serve, we have been blessed to remind children and families that they are seen, loved, and not alone.
Today, Happy Disciples is entering a new season. We are building upon what God has already allowed us to accomplish while expanding our reach to serve our communities, build Christ-centered relationships, and care for people walking through difficult seasons of life.
Mission
Our mission is to live lives that bear witness to God’s glory, making a lasting impact in our community and helping people experience His love through genuine community, meaningful outreach, and intentional care.
Vision
Our vision is to create monthly community events that bring people into Christ centered environments where they can build meaningful friendships that glorify God and strengthen their faith. We envision partnering with other nonprofits through intentional outreach, providing the resources and support they need to continue doing God’s work in their communities. We will accomplish this through genuine intentionality, compassion, and care for those walking through difficult seasons, creating a community where people feel seen, supported, and loved.
